A dj since the millenium year Joshua van Nieuwkerk has played with many styles of music. After moving to Calgary, Alberta, the sound Joshua settled on was house, from the dirty to the deep, the break to the sweet, these are the sounds that make this dj kick. Being lucky enough to play all over the country has developed the sound and style that Joshua brings to the turntables. The production bug has bitten Joshua allowing original productions to make their way into his sets. Holding a residency at the Cherry Lounge has given Joshua the chance to play with such international acts as Halo Varga, Jazzy Eyewear, Bryan Jones, Ben Watt, Hipp-e and local heros such as Jon Delerious, Cary Chang, Dom G, Isis Graham, Dylan Leroy, and Halifax's finest Funkdub.
