Since the purchase of his first set of turntables in May of 1999, Dylan Leroy had delved into quite a few different styles of music and making mix tape after mix tape. Playing at an afterhours club in 2001, then named Soul Tattoo, would be the first experience performing in front of a crowd. That would then take him to Shadow for a couple of guest appearances, as well as a rare opportunity to play a party at SAIT. It wasn’t until early 2003 that a big change was about to take effect. Dylan had rediscovered his passion for House music, and decided it was time to start fresh. Playing pre-Gruve Saturday’s at Manhattan’s would be considered a real treat, as well as providing a real opportunity to play the Deep House that had been really moving him.

Since then, Dylan Leroy has played quite a few club nights including such places as Cherry, The Warehouse, Manhattan’s, Sambuca Lounge, and has even appeared on local university radio CJSW 90.9 FM.

One of the peak moments would be had when opening for Dj Sneak alongside local Dj and close friend, Isis Graham. You can always catch Dylan taking in the House sounds around Calgary and continuing to learn from those that inspired him so much.
